In 2010, the first specialized regulation on the disposal of large waste, "Technical Requirements for the Collection and Utilization of Large Waste" (GB/T25175-2010), was officially released by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development. In the context of garbage classification, relevant management policies for the treatment of large waste have been introduced since 2017. Cities such as Xiamen, Shenzhen, Beijing, and Shanghai have successively issued management measures for large waste. In the garbage classification management measures issued by cities such as Taiyuan and Fuzhou, special provisions have been formulated to regulate the management of large waste; In the process of formulating policies for the management of large waste, the development of group standards related to the handling of large waste provides strong reference for the implementation of relevant policies. At present, the "Standard for Setting up Large scale Garbage Collection and Distribution Facilities" (T/HW0002-2018) and the "Technical Regulations for Large scale Garbage Treatment" (T/HW 00007-2020) have been promulgated and implemented. The implementation of these group standards plays an important role in regulating, promoting, and ensuring the treatment of large scale garbage in China.

Large scale garbage refers to waste furniture, household appliances, electronic products, etc. that weigh more than 5kg, have a volume of more than 0.2m ³, or a length of more than 1m, and have strong integrity and need to be separately classified and collected for processing. This scheme's crushing process: heavy-duty chain plate conveyors or loaders transport large garbage to the crushing bin, and dual axis shear crushers crush various mixed solid waste into smaller particle sizes. During the crushing process, metal materials are automatically separated from other materials, and the metal materials are automatically discharged into the buffer device through the iron remover. Other materials are transported to the garbage collection vehicle through a closed belt conveyor. The entire production line is equipped with a professional dust reduction system, and then transported by the collection vehicle to the terminal disposal site, achieving rapid transfer, effective capacity reduction, and reasonable classification of garbage, promoting the reduction, resource utilization, and harmless treatment of large garbage.
